Loebsack Campaign Releases Third Ad: “Fundamentally”

Iowa City, IA – Dave Loebsack’s campaign released their third television ad today. The 30-second spot called “Fundamentally” highlights Dave’s efforts to secure Medicare while John Archer has advocated for making drastic changes to the program that would lead to cuts in services and higher fees for seniors.

“Iowans know that ‘Voucher-Care’ is not Medicare and John Archer has not been shy in his support for wanting to fundamentally change the structure of the program and end it as we know it. Iowans can’t afford to spend an additional $6,000 a year and receive fewer services when they have been working and paying into the system their whole lives. Dave knows that we’ve got to balance the budget, but we’ve got to do it the right way — by protecting and strengthening Social Security and Medicare,” said Brian Fritsch, Loebsack’s Campaign Manager.
